Spend the day at the National Trust’s Attingham Park, discover the ten museums of the UNESCO World Heritage Ironbridge Gorge, or wander the cobbled streets and riverside of medieval Shrewsbury, just 15 minutes away. Walkers and cyclists have the Wrekin, Haughmond Hill and miles of countryside on the doorstep.
Best of all, the village pub is right beneath you, with roaring log burners, dog-friendly corners and a proper local welcome. No driving home after dinner; simply head downstairs and back up to your own peaceful retreat.
